How does Auto-Detailing & Car Care OS handle personal data about your customers?

Is there a contract?
No long contract. Auto-Detailing & Car Care OS is paid monthly and you can cancel any time. There is no lock-in.
Do I have to set it all up myself?
No. We do the set-up for you and load your services, prices and check-in form. Expect days, not months, and an afternoon of your time to check it over.
What if Auto-Detailing & Car Care OS is discontinued?
We are candid about this: we shut down products that don't earn their place. If that ever happens to Auto-Detailing & Car Care OS, you get notice first and a full export of your data.
I already take photos on my phone at drop-off. Why would I need more than that?
If you can find the right photo in under a minute, 8 months later, and the customer saw it on the day, you may not need more. Phone photos fail when they are unsorted, never shared, or lost with an old handset. Auto-Detailing & Car Care OS is being built to keep the damage map with the vehicle and let you share the check-in record with the customer.
Will check-in on a screen slow down a busy morning?
A check-in should take about 10 minutes a car on paper, and software only earns its place if it is no slower. That is the standard we are building to: marking existing damage on a diagram of the car before work starts. The product is not live, so we cannot show you timings yet. Does it suit mobile detailers, or only studios with a bay?
It is designed around detailing, PPF and ceramic coating studios, and damage mapping at check-in is the job it puts first. Mobile detailers do the same check-in on a driveway, so much of it applies. We would rather be honest: working with poor signal is a real constraint, and we want to hear from mobile detailers on the waitlist before promising anything.
Can I see it or try it now?
Not yet. Auto-Detailing & Car Care OS has the public status Validating, which means we are testing demand before building it out. There is no price, launch date or trial to offer today. You can join the waitlist and tell us what it must do. In the meantime, the free check-in form and quote template on this site work on paper.
Will a damage map stop customers claiming against me?
It will not remove a customer's legal rights, and no software can. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you remain responsible for working with reasonable care and skill. What a dated damage map does is show which marks were there on arrival, so a dispute about existing damage can be settled with a record both sides saw, not with an argument.
